Suvalee Company Limited was established as a limited partnership with a registered capital of 100,000 baht in 1967 to operate in a construction business including distribution and transportation of construction materials. In 1970, Suvalee began to provide small-scale road construction services. In 1974, it successfully acquired its first crushed stone quarry to produce crushed stone in various sizes for construction. Suvalee underwent several organizational changes to match its rapid expansion and became a limited company with a registered capital of 150 million baht in 1979. In 2000, Its registered capital was increased to 720 million baht to renovate and increase the capacity of its quarries and acquire sufficient construction machines and equipment to efficiently provide full-scale nationwide construction services.
In its thirty-fourth year of operation, construction services still remain in the focal ground while limestone mining, crushed stone quarrying, hot-mixed asphalt producing, ready-mixed concrete making, concrete product manufacturing, and offering of other construction related services are integral parts in the company's profile
